Finding it hard to fit in some calm time where there is absolutely nothing to think about except you and your baby? Yoga for Pregnancy classes will help you ease into pregnancy and give you the time and space to enjoy it. Supporting you in this magical and life changing experience whilst learning Yoga techniques to help you with the potential anxiety bringing a new life into the world can bring. The classes will help you maintain appropriate fitness as you adjust and prepare physically, emotionally and mentally for giving birth and looking after your baby.
This relaxed class will help you become more aware of the power f your breath, combining appropriate breathing practices (pranayama) and gentle exercise (asana) – including pelvic floor work – with meditation, some sound work (Nada Yoga) and lots of relaxation (Yoga Nidra).
Therapeutic work related to pregnancy specific conditions is also covered thus helping you to maintain correct posture and not exacerbate conditions. Classes Suitable for women from 14th week of pregnancy onwards.
