Perivale Wood is a 27 acre (11 hectare) area of ancient oak woodland in west London.
The Reserve is open to the public once a year, on the last Sunday in April at a time when the bluebells are at their most beautiful.
Arrangements can be made for groups from schools, colleges, etc to visit the Reserve as a part of their biology and ecology studies. It is normally possible to arrange for school parties to be given a guided tour of the Reserve, and nature trail leaflets and workbooks for school children are available.
The entrance – from Sunley Gardens in Perivale – a short walk northwards from Perivale Tube(Central Line), the nearest bus stop is for the 297, and the E5 and 95 both stop on Teignmouth Gardens
