Seventh session of our new course, A Painting, A Pie and A Pint.
Over a 13 week period we are featuring a different masterpiece each week with Nick Pearson leading the discussion. Many of you will know that Nick is an entertaining and informative lecturer. In this season, he will be encouraging you to share your thoughts on the paintings.
Our seventh masterpiece is Giorgione’s Tempest, displayed in the Gallerie dell’Accademia of Venice, Italy. This week, we will be discussing this puzzling High Renaissance landscape painting….
We are starting at 7.30pm; so come early pick up your pie and drink and find a seat at the Orchard Cafe for an informative, engaging and enjoyable art discussion.
The series runs until 28 July 2016 giving us the opportunity to explore and discuss 13 amazing masterpieces from Renaissance to Modern Art, through Impressionism etc.
