I teach in my studio at home in Paisley road and the pre natal class is on a Sunday afternoon at 5pm. It is an hour to an hour and a half. We cover a little bit of education as to how the body is physically effected by pregnancy and how this relates to how we should exercise also some birth preparation techniques – Pilates exercises to keep you strong, mobile, toned and comfortable as baby bump grows! Then we finish with a visualisation/relaxation.
I am a qualified Pilates teacher and am a member of the Pilates Foundation and the Independent Pilates Teachers Association. I have also completed post graduate qualifications in pre and post natal Pilates.
I am also a mum to 2 year old Ella – so know what it’s like to be pregnant! – I did Pilates all the way through my Pregnancy and am sure it is what kept me discomfort free!
