East Surrey Museum is a small local museum covering the East Surrey area. The museum is run by an enthusiastic band of volunteers and we hold activities for primary age children and their accompanying adult(s) during school holidays. Easy to find – turn right out of Caterham Station and walk about 50 yards. We're also near to local buses (407 if you are coming from the Croydon direction), and Morrison and Waitrose car parks are nearby.
Please join us at the museum on 15-16 February at the usual times of 10.30am to 12.00 noon and 2.00pm to 3.30pm and build your own Ancient Greek warship! It is not difficult and we have a sheet of instructions to assist you – basically: colour, cut, fold, glue and insert the mast. If we museum stewards (seriously not young….) can do it (and here is a photo to prove it) then how much better will you be!
All materials are supplied free-of-charge though donations to help cover the costs are always welcome. Come and have some fun!
Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
