This teenage Yoga and Mindfulness class is suitable for girls from age 11 – 17. The classes allow them time away from the stresses of their regular school studies and are taught in a non-competitive and fun manner. We aim to make the students aware of their own bodies, improve their posture, strengthen their bones and increase their flexibility. Breathing techniques help to calm, energise and balance the nervous system and allow teenagers to cope with the powerful physical changes and enormous hormonal shifts occurring in their adolescent bodies. Stress can manifest itself in a number of ways,Yoga and Mindfulness are tools that can help both children and teens alike relax and focus especially during exam times.
