A new workshop from Let's Make Art for toddlers and their grown up to make things together inspired by classic children's books. Each session is themed around a popular children’s book or tale and our activities are inspired by the story. We will provide everything for you and your little artists to make quality craft items together and take home to hang on your wall. Children get to spend quality time with their grown up making two or more thing and we are on hand for guidance. When the making is finished we read the story together and this gives the grownups an opportunity to sit and relax too. For younger siblings, we have a collection of art-based toys and games designed for creative play and a free scribbling area. 9th Jan - The Tiger Who Came to Tea - Judith Kerr 16th Jan - Sparkle & Spin: A Book About Words by Ann & Paul Rand 23rd Jan - Good Night, Gorilla by Peggy Ratham 30th Jan - Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak 6th Feb - The Gingerbread Man by Karen Schmidt These sessions have limited places.
