Friendly weekly antenatal classes on Tuesday evenings. Each session we have time for discussion and learning around different aspects of pregnancy, birth or parenting, getting to know other women in the group, yoga postures, positions and movements for labour, breathing, and simple relaxation and meditation techniques that are useful for pregnancy, birth and beyond.
The classes integrate active birth as well as specialist exercises to help strengthen your body in pregnancy and to facilitate your birthing and postnatal recovery. No experience of yoga is necessary.
The ideal time to start is around 16-20 weeks (though you can start as early as 14 weeks). Most women come along until they give birth and many return to share their birth stories and experiences of breastfeeding and early parenting.
