It is never too early to start massaging your baby. Massage can soothe your baby and help them to feel loved and protected whilst strengthening attachment. Gentle, rhythmic strokes of your baby's body with your hands is used which stimulates your production of the hormone oxytocin that gives you a warm, loving feeling when holding your baby close or breastfeeding. This promotes bonding and attachment and reduces the risk of postnatal depression. Regular massage offers many benefits to both baby and parents.
My classes focus on health routines and relaxation to include colic, constipation, wind, reflux and sleep. Small, informal group sessions giving mums the opportunity to discuss their feelings, ask questions, give suggestions and advice. Lots of added extras, taster sessions and freebies.
