Developed by Serco and delivered in collaboration with Adfecto,the School Administration Foundation Certificate is an 8-month course designed for school administrators, to help you improve and consolidate skills in office administration. The programme is also recognised by the National College for Teaching and Leadership as suitable preparation for the Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management (CSBM). Many of our SAFC graduates have now gone on to study the Level 4 programme that we also offer. The broad and varied demands placed on school office staff, along with the fast pace with which each activity needs to be delivered, often means that identifying your strengths, along with areas that you would like to develop, is often the last item on your agenda. The SAFC will help you change this and will enable you to manage your workload more effectively, whilst focusing your time on things that are most important. It will help you develop your professional knowledge and competence so that you are able to contribute more effectively within your school or organisation.
