Lovely relaxing and supportive prenatal yoga classes suitable for ladies with a regular yoga practise or if you have never done yoga before.
We practise hatha yoga postures (modified for pregnancy where necessary) and focus on breathing techniques for use both during your pregnancy and the birth of your baby. The class is all about preparing your mind and body for the birthing experience you really want. All the ladies are really supportive of each other. There is space and time to ask questions and share experiences should you wish to do so.
I ask that ladies book as a block as the group is small and quite static which gives the ladies a chance to get to know each other and to create friendships that extend beyond the class and last beyond their pregnancy. The Yogabellies philosophy is to create a group of women who all support each other and I really foster this in the classes.
I would recommend that you wait until you are at least 8 weeks pregnant before beginning the class.
You don't need to bring anything to the class with you. I provide all the yoga equipment and the biscuits!
