Here at Welling School iBrary we will be holding a Special Effects make-up/film & photography course on Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd of July (in the first week of the summer holidays). This course will be suitable for ages 11-17. We will be starting both days at 10am with lunch from 12:00 - 12:30pm and finishing at 3pm. The age range is 11-17 years and generally suitable for children with interest in media, make-up & prosthetics, special effects and filming. This course will be run by Welling School iBrary staff. For the price of £40, students can watch and learn how to apply special effects make-up to create their own short film called “The Welling Walking Dead!” Every student will work as a team to make their ideal creation, practice and apply the effects, learn how to pose and shoot photographs and lastly film, star and edit in their own mini feature film as a group.
