The Max Edwards Internship Programme

Westminster

The Max Edwards Internship Programme will offer two weeks paid work experience in Ed Miliband's office in Westminster to young people between the ages of 18-25 who are inspired by politics and particularly politics of the left.

Here's what Ed Miliband has said about this internship:

“In 2016 I was lucky enough to meet Max Edwards, otherwise known as The Anonymous Revolutionary, a young writer who wrote about revolutionary socialism in today’s climate.

“His book was published in 2016 as a collection of articles from his blog by the same name.

“Max sadly passed away not long after his book was published at the age of 16. He was a remarkable young man: intelligent, talented and thoughtful.

“With the agreement of his family we have decided to set up the Max Edwards Internship in his memory.”

Max wrote openly about his cancer diagnosis – you can read one example here and read more about his book here. JustineMumsnet was lucky enough to know Max – see her post here.
