Have one DD who is called Matilda and am thinking now of Meredith for 2nd DD with Rose as a middle name so Meredith Rose.

What are people's views

LetThereBeRock · 28/05/2010 14:55

iMum · 28/05/2010 14:56

LittleSilver · 28/05/2010 19:42

Lovely.

MathsMadMummy · 28/05/2010 19:44

I like it - one of my mum's saturday assistants at her library is Meredith - everyone calls her Merry!

LynetteScavo · 28/05/2010 19:46

If you are really looking for peoples views...I don't like it. At all. Sorry.

BudaisintheZONE · 28/05/2010 19:49

Love it. Have a lovely Aussie friend called Meredith. Lovely name.

NiceCuppaT · 28/05/2010 21:04

Sorry no I don't like it. Like Matilda though!

twolittlemonkeys · 28/05/2010 21:06

Love it. Before my MC recently that was my chosen girls name for bump. Am hoping to get pg again and still be able to use it!

NiandraLaDes · 28/05/2010 21:30

Really love it... Is definitely on my list of names for future DDs . To be totally honest, not 100% keen on Rose as a middle name, but Meredith... gorgeous!

Rockbird · 29/05/2010 00:56

Hate it, ugly name, sorry.

PricklyThistle · 29/05/2010 00:58

Like it a lot.

nooka · 29/05/2010 05:02

I like Meredith, but I wouldn't use it if I had a Matilda, unless she was a Tilly/Tilda, because Matilda and Meredith would be too much of a mouthful for me, and Mattie and Merry a bit much.

Lonnie · 29/05/2010 10:37

Beautiful

Nancy66 · 29/05/2010 10:44

can't stand it.

Hedwig3 · 29/05/2010 16:25

The only Meredith I know is a middle-aged man so that puts me off!

How about Merrily?

iloveasylumseekers · 29/05/2010 16:29

It's a boys' name to me.

Longtalljosie · 29/05/2010 16:36

I love it but the Meredith Kercher trial was in the news while I was pregnant, so that kind of knocked it out for me...

UnrequitedSkink · 29/05/2010 16:52

No, it's a name for an uptight upper-middle-class middle-aged woman.

capstone · 29/05/2010 18:56

Gorgeous

frakkit · 29/05/2010 18:59

I like it
