Martha Pearl if our yellow bump is a girl
What do you think.

liliputlady · 27/05/2010 10:26

Really pretty!

LuluF · 27/05/2010 10:49

lovely

KAEKAE · 27/05/2010 10:51

I like Pearl not keen on Martha, just not pretty IMO.

Disenchanted3 · 27/05/2010 10:52

It sounds like 'half a pearl' to me.

But should be OK as long as your surname isn't 'Necklace'

Disenchanted3 · 27/05/2010 10:52

I'm with Kaekae, Martha is a grumpy old ladies name.

Hedwig3 · 27/05/2010 10:53

Gorgeous.

seeker · 27/05/2010 10:55

Lovely!

LynetteScavo · 27/05/2010 11:00

I love the name Martha!

minipie · 27/05/2010 11:01

I like Martha

LouMacca · 27/05/2010 11:49

I think Martha is lovely.

There are so many lovely girls names around but Pearl is not one of them, ok for middle name tho.

mopsyflopsy · 27/05/2010 12:21

Not keen on Martha, I'm afraid.

Songbird · 27/05/2010 12:22

LOVE Martha, not keen on Pearl I'm afraid, but not bad for a middle name. Have you got a boy's name?

pixiestix · 27/05/2010 12:22

Really nice

Rubena · 27/05/2010 14:24

LOL @ disenchanted!! Hello by the way!! Come back and say hello!

Umm back to the topic - I don't mind Martha but not keen on Pearl either I'm afraid but it's a middle name right?

Disenchanted3 · 27/05/2010 15:00

Do I know you?!

Disenchanted3 · 27/05/2010 15:00

Oops, sounded rude then, didn't mean to

diddl · 27/05/2010 15:30

Both very old lady names imo

mathanxiety · 27/05/2010 16:25

I love Pearl, not so keen on Martha, but they have a sort of rhythm to them.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 27/05/2010 17:14

It's lovely, though I prefer Pearl to Martha

SillyTillyBilly · 27/05/2010 18:59

I adore Martha. It is a simple pretty biblical name thoat sounds nice on a child or grown up. I don't particularly like Pearl but it is good as a middle name.

CantSupinate · 27/05/2010 19:13

If you have "finally" decided then why ask for opinions?(??)
But if you have truly finally decided, and just want to brace yourself for any negative RL reactions, then Big Congrats on getting that Big Decision out of the way.
I like your choice for being freshly original, btw.

lifeas3plus1 · 27/05/2010 19:47

I love Martha. Pearl... Well not so keen but it's ok as a middle name!

Overall, a really nice name.

brennannbooth · 27/05/2010 21:03

ThatVikRinA22 · 27/05/2010 21:05

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Was initially thinking of Martha Rose but virtually all baby girls that I know have got Mae/May or Rose as a middle name. I wanted something a little different and Pearl seems to fit.
