Creamy garlic mushrooms

  • 150ml double cream

  • 1 handful parsley (to serve)

  • 1 splash sherry or white wine

  • 3 cloves garlic crushed

  • 1 knob butter

  • 12 mushrooms chopped


  1. Melt the butter in a pan, and add the garlic.
  2. Cook for a 1-2 minutes, letting it cook but not colour.
  3. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. Add the sherry and let it simmer and reduce down.
  4. Add the cream and let it warm through, stirring to mix all the flavours.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
