  • 250g mixed dried fruit

  • 250g mixed chopped nuts

  • 750g porridge oats


  1. Empty a packet of porridge oats (preferably organic) into a baking tray and mix in 250g of mixed chopped nuts.
  2. Place in a hot oven for about 10 minutes until the grains are lightly toasted.
  3. Allow to cool and then mix in 250g of mixed dried fruit of your choice.
  4. Store in an airtight container and serve with hot milk, cold milk, (cow's, soya, goat's, rice – your choice!) water, or fruit juice.

    Obviously contains nuts, so not suitable for those allergic and very young children. Great way to increase fibre intake!
