  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 lemon

  • 1 handful fresh parsley roughly chopped (preferably flat leaf)

  • 2 cloves garlic thinly sliced

  • 1 tin crab meat

  • 1 red chilli thinly sliced

  • 150g linguine

  1. Cook the pasta, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil, add the garlic and chilli and let it cook for a few minutes but make sure it doesn't burn.
  3. Add the crabmeat and a large squeeze of lemon juice. Add black pepper and chopped parsley and mix thoroughly.
  4. Toss the crab mixture with the hot pasta and serve.

Handy Hint

This is one pasta dish that Parmesan cheese does not go very well with. However you can make a delicious vegetarian version of the same dish, omitting the crab and adding loads of Parmesan.

Very tasty. Also works well substituting crab with shelled raw prawns

Dh was very impressed with this meal, I used a tinned crabmeat and it turned out very well.
