Sweet and sour chicken wings

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1kg chicken wings with or without skin

  • 4 tbsp sweet and sour sauce

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 3 tbsp lemon juice


  1. Put a bit of oil in a wok then add the chicken wings. Cook the wings on a medium heat until they are lightly golden brown.
  2. Check the chicken is cooked thoroughly, sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Now mix sweet and sour sauce, lemon juice, ketchup and sugar together.
  4. Pour the mixture over chicken wings. Heat the wok up again so the wings and sauce are hot. Serve immediately with fresh salad.
