Chicken tikka masala wraps

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 500g chicken breast cubed

  • 1/2 lemon juiced

  • 1 green chilli deseeded and chopped

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 8 tortilla wraps (to serve)

  • 45ml Greek yoghurt

  • 1 jar tikka masala sauce

  • 2 handfuls lettuce shredded (to serve)

  • 240g raita (to serve)


  1. Place the chicken in a small bowl and add the yoghurt, chilli, lemon and garam masala. Mix well and leave to marinate for 10 minutes (if time allows this could be done overnight).
  2. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan, lift the chicken pieces from the marinade, add to the pan one at a time and cook over a high heat for 10 minutes turning them until they are lightly charred on all sides.
  3. Add the tikka masala sauce and bring to the boil. Simmer over a high heat until the sauce is thickened and reduced.
  4. Serve the chicken pieces and sauce spooned into tortilla wraps with shredded lettuce and raita to finish.
