White chocolate and apricot crispie squares

  • 3oz golden syrup

  • 3oz unsalted butter

  • 4oz white chocolate

  • 2.5oz porridge oats

  • 1oz mini marshmallows

  • 2.5oz Rice Krispies

  • 2oz dried apricots chopped


  1. Break the chocolate into pieces and put in a saucepan together with the butter and golden syrup and melt over a low heat.
  2. Put the rice krispies, apricots, marshmallows and oats in a bowl, and then stir in the melted chocolate mix.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a tin and put in fridge to set - cut into squares and eat!

Handy Hint

Apricots can be exchanged for dried apple, dates, raisins or whatever takes your fancy.
