  • 150g self-raising flour

  • 120ml milk

  • 100g cheese (grated)

  • 200g bacon lardons if you have them

  • 100ml sunflower oil

  • 3 eggs

  • 150g stoned prunes roughly chopped


  1. Heat the oven to 180°C
  2. Fry bacon (chopped into little pieces if you can't get lardons).
  3. Mix the eggs with the flour, then add the oil and then little by little the milk
  4. Add your grated cheese, bacon, prunes, mix and add salt and pepper
  5. Butter a loaf tin and pour the mixture into it
  6. Cook for about 45 minutes
