Superfast spaghetti bolognese

  • 1 onion

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 500g spaghetti

  • 1 tin corned beef

  • 2 cloves garlic crushed

  • 24oz pasta sauce (a jar)


  1. Put 500g spaghetti (or alternative) in a pan of boiling water and simmer for 12 minutes.
  2. Put the onion into a pan with olive oil and garlic and fry until softened and slightly brown.
  3. Add the spaghetti sauce and corned beef to taste and stir. Heat through for 5 minutes and serve onto spaghetti.

Handy Hint

Keep a piece of bread in your teeth while chopping the onion to absorb the vapour.
