  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 1 small onion

  • 100g croutons


  1. Whizz onion in food processor.
  2. Fry in oil until brown. Add croutons and cover with just enough water to cover all the croutons.
  3. Mix and boil until all water is absorbed.

Handy Hint

Dice onion for older/less picky eaters or omit onion and just boil up croutons with water to make them soggy. Serve next to protein for supper/dinner. Especially good with warm salmon.

    surprisingly tasty. just as healthy as other wheat based starch eg toasted pasta.
