Green bean spaghetti

  • 4 handfuls spaghetti

  • 1 tin chopped tomato preferably slightly drained

  • 1 bag fine green beans

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1/2 pinches chilli flakes (to taste)

  • 1 handful Parmesan (to serve)


  1. Really simple. Boil two pans of water, one for pasta and one for beans (I can't really see any reason why they couldn't both be in one pan, thinking about it logically). Cook green beans for about 10 minutes so they are flexible. Cook pasta to taste.
  2. Meanwhile put tomatoes, garlic and chilli flakes in a pan and bring to a fast boil for a few minutes.
  3. Drain the beans and the pasta, mix in the tomato sauce and serve. Top with loads of Parmesan!
