Sesame flapjacks

  • 150g butter

  • 50g brown sugar

  • 140g golden syrup

  • 250g oats

  • 40g sesame seeds


  1. Preheat oven to 180C and line a 20cm square tin with grease-proof paper.
  2. Melt butter, syrup and sugar.
  3. Stir in oats and sesame seeds.
  4. Pat down into tin.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Cut into pieces when hot but leave to cool completely before removing from the tin.
