  • 4 chicken breast

  • Some garlic

  • 1 block of puff pastry

  • Some medium or mild cheese

  • Milk (to glaze)


  1. Score the chicken breasts.
  2. Slice the garlic and place into the scores.
  3. Put a slice of cheese on each one.
  4. Wrap in pastry like a pasty.
  5. Glaze with milk.
  6. Cook at 180C for 25 minutes.

    This is a very simple but delicious recipe that my mum threw together one day and has become a firm favourite. It is very versatile as it is lovely hot for dinner or cold for lunch or a picnic! If you make the big ones then you do not need any potatoes, just veg on the side is enough to fill you up!
