Quick carrot and corn soup

  • 1 tin sweetcorn

  • 1 tsp dried sage

  • 2 tsp vegetable bouillon

  • 2 handfuls frozen carrot

  • 1 pinch parsley or chives chopped (to serve)


  1. Put the vegetables, boullion powder and dried sage in a pan, and cover with boiling water.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes, the blitz with a blender, adding more water if needed.
  3. Serve sprinkled with fresh, finely chopped herbs.

Handy Hint

Add a chopped sweet potato or use a mixture of peas and corn for a change.

    if you leave out the bouillion and sage and just add a few chives before blending this mix is suitable for babies(then add extra liquid to make it 'soupy'
