Ingredients

  • 2 star anise

  • 6 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 orange cut into slices

  • 3 1/4 inch ginger

  • 2 cinnamon stick

  • 1 large lemon cut into slices

  • 2 cloves

  • 1l cranberry juice

  • 1 handful pineapple chunks

Method

  1. In a large saucepan, bring all the ingredients to a boil (including the del monte tinned pineapple).
  2. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve hot, with the spices, if desired.
