  • 135g peanut butter - ideally with no added sugar

  • 170g honey

  • 270g oats


  1. Melt together peanut butter and honey.
  2. Stir in oats very well.
  3. Leave to mush together for 5-10 mins.
  4. Flatten out into a flat tin/tray.
  5. Leave to set in fridge for 30 mins, then cut into squares.

    took this on a twenty mile hike last week. Definitely kept the energy levels up. Friend's children finished it off afterwards and liked it so much strict rationing had to be enforced. Added a handful of sultanas to the mix before pressing it in to the tin - v nice.
