Apple, cinnamon and pecan energy bars

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 250g pecan nuts, chopped

  • 180g rolled oats

  • 235g granny smith apples , chopped

  • 262g stoned dates , halved


  1. Preheat oven.
  2. Toast pecans and oats in oven for about 10 mins.
  3. Line a square pan with greaseproof paper.
  4. Throw the nuts, oats, dates, cinnamon and salt in a food processor and whizz. Add apples and whizz some more.
  5. Spread mixture into the pan and flatten it with a spatula. Bake for about 20 mins.
