  • 1l semi-skimmed milk

  • handful of cherry tomatoes

  • 400g macaroni

  • 1 head brocolli

  • 75g butter

  • 75g flour

  • 400g mature cheddar

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • handful of mushrooms


  1. Make up a cheese sauce (flour, butter, milk, cheese and a little mustard).

  2. Cook macaroni according to packet instructions.

  3. Two minutes before the macaroni is done, add the broccoli florets.

  4. Saute the garlic and mushrooms in a pan.

  5. Add the cooked macaroni, broccoli, garlicky mushrooms and cherry tomatoes to the cheese sauce.

You can bake it in the oven or serve as it is.
