3-4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
1 french stick
- Cut the french stick into slices but be careful not to cut all the way through the loaf
- Peel and crush the garlic and mix with the softened butter and parsley
- Spread each slice, back and front with the garlic butter
- Wrap the bread in foil, put in the oven for 15 minutes at 200C/Gas Mark 6.
If you want it brown on top, leave in for a few minutes at the end with the foil opened.
The five minutes refers to how quickly you can get this in the oven.
