300ml double cream
1 tbsp hazelnut liqueur
- Whisk the cream in a bowl, adding the liqueur as it starts to thicken.
- Soften the Nutella (or other chocolate/hazelnut spread if you prefer) with a spoon in the jar or a separate bowl so it's smooth.
- Fold the Nutella into the cream until all combined.
- Serve in individual glasses or ramekins.
You can leave out the liqueur if serving to kids - though it's only a tiny amount and does give a nice added flavour.
Can be made in advance and kept in the fridge - will last a few days if covered.
These are a lovely, light after dinner sweet - nice served alongside coffee with a chocolate, eg Ferrero Rocher, on top.
