Quick Nutella mousse

  • 300ml double cream

  • 1 tbsp hazelnut liqueur

  • 85g Nutella


  1. Whisk the cream in a bowl, adding the liqueur as it starts to thicken.
  2. Soften the Nutella (or other chocolate/hazelnut spread if you prefer) with a spoon in the jar or a separate bowl so it's smooth.
  3. Fold the Nutella into the cream until all combined.
  4. Serve in individual glasses or ramekins.

Handy Hint

You can leave out the liqueur if serving to kids - though it's only a tiny amount and does give a nice added flavour.
Can be made in advance and kept in the fridge - will last a few days if covered.
These are a lovely, light after dinner sweet - nice served alongside coffee with a chocolate, eg Ferrero Rocher, on top.
