  • 1 handful fresh sage leaves

  • 6 dried apricots

  • 1 beaten egg

  • 1 packet of ready rolled puff pastry

  • 2 blocks Good quality sausage meat


Unroll the puff pastry and lay on a baking sheet - on baking paper

Score down length ways into 3 so you have a left, right and middle section.

Mix the sausagemeat with the cut up sage and apricots (cut these with scissors).

  1. In the middle section spread the sausagemeat down the length of the pastry.

  2. Cut the left and right hand sides of the pastry on the diagonal and fold over in turn over the top of the meat section, so it's all covered - tuck in the top and bottom.

  3. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle poppy seeds if you have any/ fancy it.

  4. Bake in oven (180degrees) for about 30-40 mins.

  5. Slice and serve
