Egg, Chickpea And Coconut Milk

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 tin coconut milk

  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1 tbsp ground garam masala

  • 1 tin tin chickpeas

  • 8 boiled eggs

  • 2 tbsp Oil


1 Heat a saucepan with oil. Add the onions and cook until translucent.
2 Add ginger garlic paste and the turmeric and cook for 2 minutes or until raw smell is gone.
3 Add the chickpeas.
4 Season and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5 Add the coconut milk and simmer until it starts bubbling.
6 Add the boiled eggs and cook for another few minutes. (At this stage you can remove some for the kids or if you are not a spice fan)
7 Add the grinded garam masala and the chillies and simmer for another 5 minutes..
8 Serve with boiled Rice, roti or puri or in it's own
