Serves: 4
Ingredients
-
1 handful cheese grated
-
6 slices bacon
-
1 tin 8 hot dogs
-
4 potatoes large
-
1-2 tins baked beans
-
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Method
- Chop the bacon and hot dogs into chunks then pop in an oven dish with the baked beans and worcestershire sauce and give it all a good mix.
- Cook and mash the potatoes then pop on top the bean mix.
- Top the potatoes with the grated cheese and put in the oven for about an hour on a lower heat (about 150C for a fan) or half an hour on a higher heat.
- Alternatively, you can put all of this in the slow cooker for about 6 hours on low then remove the lid for the last half an hour to allow the potatoes to crispen up (you might find it better to add the cheese as a garnish if cooking in the slow cooker).
Handy Hint
You can easily make this the night before and store in the fridge ready to cook the next day.
