1 sheet of pork ribs
30g chorizo sausages, cut into small chunks
1 tin cannellini beans
1 jar passata
Turn the slow cooker on full
1 Switch on the kettle to boil
2 Place the pork in the slow cooker – it will fit round the edge like a thick meat lining
3 Drain the cannellini beans
4 Peel and finely chop the onion
5 Slice the pepper
6 Add the onion, beans, pepper to the sc, inside the meat. Pour over the passatta, season with salt and pepper.
7 Top up with boiling water
8 Cook on full power
You need to make this in a slow cooker. It NEEDS the chorizo, it really does make a huge difference.
The meat falls off the bones and I find it easiest to remove them with chop sticks.
Once cooked it can be frozen in portions.
Cooking time is actually 5 - 12 hours
