  • 1 onion

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 pinch chilli powder or paprika

  • 1 handful besan flour


  1. Slice onion into thin long strips.
  2. Sprinkle besan flour, salt, chilli powder.
  3. Add water and make into thick batter. Spoon the batter and deep fry in oil.

Handy Hint

Make in batches and reheat in oven for crisp bhajjis. If you microwave them it will look soggy and oily.
