  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 clove garlic crushed

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 ciabatta lightly toasted on one side

  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper

  • 1 splash cream

  • 1 handful flat-leaf parsley

  • 2 handfuls mushrooms sliced (any variety or combination)


  1. Melt butter in a pan, add sliced mushrooms, pepper, garlic and salt.
  2. Add a splash of cream, serve on top of toasted ciabatta, drizzle with a little balsamic vinegar and garnish with flat leaf parsley.

Handy Hint

If you have no cream, or are trying to cut down, you can use a little veg stock, a little cornflour to thicken and a splash of milk instead.
