Haselnuss-Makronen (hazelnut macaroons)

  • 150g sugar

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 3 egg whites

  • 250g hazelnuts grated, or grated and chopped


  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. Mix the other ingredients together and add them, a spoonful at a time, to the egg whites.
  3. Arrange by teaspoonfuls on the cookie sheet. You can also press the dough into thinner wafers, if you prefer.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes.
