Sausage and tomato pie

  • 1 onion sliced

  • 1 handful cheese grated

  • 1 tin tomatoes

  • 2 tsp mixed herbs

  • 6 sausages

  • 1 bowl mashed potato (to cover the filling)


  1. Fry the sausages with sliced onions until both are browned.
  2. Add the tin(s) of tomatoes, then the herbs.
  3. Slather mash over the top, and sprinkle cheese over mash.
  4. Pop in oven at 180C until cheese is melty.

Handy Hint

Use herby sausages, much nicer.
