  • 150g self-raising flour

  • 150g sugar

  • 3 tbsp golden syrup

  • 175g porridge oats

  • 50g sultanas

  • 150g butter


  1. Preheat oven to 180C/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Melt butter, sugar and syrup in a pan over a gentle heat.
  3. Place flour oats and sultanas in a large bowl.
  4. Add melted mix and stir to form sticky dough.
  5. Roll into walnut sized balls and place on a greased baking tray.
  6. Flatten slightly. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool before removing from tray.

Handy Hint

Don't be tempted to eat straight out of the oven - sultanas stay hot for a long time.
