Easy chorizo pasta

  • 1 pinch dried oregano

  • 1 clove garlic crushed

  • 1 chorizo

  • 4 handfuls pasta

  • 3 tins plum tomatoes

  • 1 handful basil roughly chopped

  • 1 ball of mozzarella


  1. Fry the garlic gently in the oil. Meanwhile cut the sausage into chunks and then add. Fry for 2 mins together with a teaspoon of oregano.
  2. Roughly chop the tomatoes in the tin and add. Turn the heat down and simmer for 45 mins, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add a handful of chopped basil and chopped mozzarella and cook for 10 more mins.
  4. Meanwhile cook the pasta. Combine the two and voila.

Handy Hint

Never buy chopped tomatoes - instead open the tin and cut the tomatoes in the tin.

    I didn't have mozarella, so used some creme faiche instead - tastes good!
