Slow cooker beef curry

  • 340g potato

  • 1 large red onion peeled and chopped

  • 1 jar rogan josh paste

  • 680g beef skirt or brisket


  1. Cut meat into small cubes. Chop onion and potatoes.
  2. Brown meat in small amount of olive oil, then add onion and potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer to slow cooker, add the jar of curry paste and slow cook for 6-8 hours on low, or overnight.
  4. Serve with naan bread and raita made with plain yoghurt, chopped cucumber and mint.

Handy Hint

Can be frozen when cooled - make when ingredients are on offer for a reasonable priced family dinner.
