Chicken pasta with feta cheese

  • 1 chicken breast cooked; pulled apart into small pieces

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3 handfuls penne pasta

  • 100g feta crumbled


  1. Cook the pasta and quickly drain, returning to the still hot saucepan.
  2. Place on a hot hob and add the butter. Stir until the butter has melted, then add the feta and chicken breast.
  3. Stir the ingredients briskly for about 20 seconds, put the lid on and remove the saucepan from the heat. Wait a minute or so for the feta to partly melt, give another quick stir then serve immediately.

Handy Hint

Don't drain the pasta too well, you can leave a little water behind. It helps the feta melt and stops the pasta drying.
