Yummy chicken wings

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp apricot jam

  • 8 chicken wings

  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds

  • 1/2 tsp dried cumin


  1. Boil the chicken wings in hot water for 5 minutes to tenderise.
  2. Whilst they are boiling, mix all the other ingredients in the base of a baking dish.
  3. Remove the chicken wings, drain them and then cover with the jammy sauce.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 220C for 25 minutes, basting the chicken wings a few times throughout. Serve with whatever you wish such as jacket potatoes, salad, coleslaw etc.

Handy Hint

Children like this because the chicken is sweet from the apricot jam. If you want to make it more healthy use a jam with a higher fruit content. Adults like this recipes because it is yummy.

    My little girl enjoyed this chicken recipe from the age of one upwards. We would remove her meat from the bone and she would feed herself and make ummm noises when eating the chicken.
