Quick vegan banana choc chip ice cream

  • 75g icing sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 500g packet of ready made soya custard

  • 50g banana chip (optional)

  • 50g vegan chocolate cut into small pieces

  • 3 banana


  1. Whisk the icing sugar into the custard until smooth.
  2. Mash the bananas and add them to the custard.
  3. Add the chocolate chips, banana chips (if using) and vanilla essence.
  4. Pour into an ice cream maker and churn for 30 minutes OR place in a plastic tub and freeze, stirring every 20 minutes or so to break up the ice crystals.

Handy Hint

Don't keep for more than a day or so. This is a great recipe for dairy intolerant children.
