  • 1 pinch baking powder

  • 3-4 eggs boiled

  • 1/4 tsp garlic paste

  • 120g bengal gram flour

  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds

  • 1/4 tsp ginger paste

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1 tbsp chaat masala

  • 2 tsp red chilli


  1. Take a large bowl, combined bengal gram flour, red chilli powder, carom seeds, baking soda, ginger-garlic paste, black pepper and salt. Mix well and make thick batter using required water
  2. Drop eggs in batter and coat well and keep aside them
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry coated eggs over high-medium flame until they are golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper towel and cut them in half.
  4. Sprinkle with chaat masala and serve hot with chutney.
