  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

  • 1 vegetable stock cube

  • 1 onion

  • 1 pinch parsley

  • 1 tin garden peas

  • 1/2 bags rice

  • 2-3 fresh tomatoes

  • 1 tin butter beans or chick peas


  1. Chop onion and fry in big pan. Chop tomatoes, put in same pan as onions fry for couple of minutes.
  2. Then, add vegetable stock cube to 1 pint of water.
  3. Add rice to pan, stir and add water to cover, leave on high heat for a while then add more water when needed, not too much.
  4. Add peas and beans, salt and pepper. Keep stirring, turn down heat to simmer, leave until rice is cooked and add chopped parsley.

Handy Hint

Keep stirring in the pan even when adding water. Don't pour all water in together - you can see the texture you want. Eat with anything you like.

    very nice with meat of chioce and can eat with bread mmmmmmmmm
